Damaged Internal Components:
Most of the electronic pressure regulators contain a heat resistant diagram attached to a spring. When the fluid pushes the diaphragm with a high force then the valve closes tightly. In contrast, the low pressure lets the diaphragm remain in the relaxed state while keeping the valve open widely. With the passage of time the moving parts of the proportional pressure regulator bear a significant amount of pressure which makes them weak.
